The Executioner and Her Way of Life began as a yuri light novel series written by Mato Sato and illustrated by Nilitsu. It follows Menou, an executioner tasked with eliminating people from another world named “Japan” before they do any damage. That changes when her latest target, high schooler Akari, is unkillable. The two are forced to travel together and solve the mystery of the “Lost Ones,” while dealing with newly developing feelings for each other.
The anime adaption premiered in April of this year and is directed by Yoshiki Kawasaki, produced by Egg Firm & SB Creative, written by Shōgo Yasukawa, with music by Michiru, and animation by J.C.Staff.
