Anime Film ‘RE:cycle of the PENGUINDRUM’ Reveals A New Penguin Princess In Its Latest Trailer

The newest trailer for RE:cycle of the PENGUINDRUM has revealed a new penguin hat wearer and penguin will be joining the cast!

RE:cycle of the PENGUINDRUM is a two-part compilation film retelling the events of the series. They are being directed by Kunihiko Ikuhara, written by Kunihiko Ikuhara & Takayo Ikami, with music by Yukari Hashimoto, and animation by Lapin Track.

Penguindrum (known in Japan as Mawaru Penguindrum) tells the story of a terminally ill girl saved from death by the spiriting living in penguin-shaped hat. This gift comes with a price, as her brothers are tasked with finding a mysterious item called the Penguindrum.

The first RE:cycle of the PENGUINDRUM movie, “Your Train is a Survival Strategy,” will release on April 29th. Part two will be released later in the year.
