The anime adaption of Aoashi is taking to the field when it premieres later this year! Fans can get a peek thanks to a teaser trailer.
Aoashi tells the story of a small-town soccer player with dreams of playing for a good high school team being dashed after causing an incident and causing a big loss. He is given a second chance, however, when he is scouted by a school in Tokyo. It is based on a manga of the same name by Yuugo Kobayashi and Naohiko Ueno.

The anime adaption is directed by Akira Satou with art direction by Tsukasa, character designs by Toshie Kawamura, and animation Production I.G..
Aoashi premieres in April 2022. No word yet on a western release. You can get more information by heading to the official production site: aoashi-pr.com.
