The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder has gotten a new trailer ahead of its February 23 Disney Plus premiere, showing everyone’s favorite family getting older and even more proud!
The revival series will see the continuation of the Proud family’s story and has the original cast returning, as well as feature the voice work of Lizzo, Tiffany Haddish, Gabrielle Union, Cedric The Entertainer, Lil Nas X, Soleil Moon Frye, Leslie Odom Jr., and Carlos Mencia.
The Proud family originally began airing in 2001 and followed teenager, Penny Proud, her eccentric family, and over-the-top friends as she dealt with growing up. The show gained praise for being an animated series showing a positive focus on a black family. Running for 52 episodes, one movie, and a memorable crossover with Lilo & Stitch, it is no wonder that 90s kids are excited for the chance to experience the show again. Well, the show and its opening.
The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder premieres February 23, 2022, on Disney Plus, where you can also watch the original series.
