Black Butler Creator Yana Toboso Teams Up With Disney & Aniplex For Disney Twisted Wonderland!

Disney and Aniplex’s upcoming mobile game Disney Twisted-Wonderland is set to release later this month, and excited fans have gotten their first look at its villain inspired characters and houses thanks to a new set of trailers!

Disney Twisted Wonderland was released in 2020 in Japan. It is described as a Villains Academy Adventure game, players will engage engage in a thrilling story of a student summoned to the magic school of Night Ravens College. From there they meet the different dormitories and various students based on classic Disney Villains, all while trying to make it home.

The story, character designs, and main script are by Black Butler creator Yana Toboso, with the game being developed by 14samurai. An official manga adaption called Disney Twisted-Wonderland The Comic: Episode of Heartslabyu was written by Wakana Hazuki and illustrated by Sumire Kowono, and released in 2021. An anime adaption is currently in the works and is heading to Disney+.
