The Crunchyroll Original Series FreakAngels has gotten a January 27, 2022 premiere date!
FreakAngels is based on the award-winning graphic novel series of the same name by Warren Ellis and Paul Duffield. It follows a group trying to survive a post-apocalyptic world using their psychic powers. It has gained much praise for its setting, sense of mystery, and characters. The Crunchyroll series has Hiroshi Shimizu (MEGALOBOX, Blue Exorcist, Lupin III) as Character Designer with Osamu Masuyama (Made in Abyss, Studio Ghibli) as Art Director.
All nine episodes of FreakAngels will be available to stream on Crunchyroll on January 27th, with options to watch with subtitles in English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Russian, and Arabic.
