Comedy-Fantasy Anime Series ‘Yuusha, Yamemasu’ Shows Its (Former) Hero in New Character Trailer!

The upcoming anime adaption of the light novel series Yuusha, Yamemasu has gotten a new character trailer showing its main character Leo, as he sets forth on a comedic journey of evil.

Yuusha, Yamemasu (I’m Quitting Being A Hero!) is a light novel series written by Quantum and illustrated by Hana Amano. It tells the story of Leo, who after making the world a peaceful place by beating the Demon King’s evil army, finds himself out of a job! With nowhere else to go and nothing else to do, he joins the same Demon King’s Army he defeated! The anime adaptation is directed by Yu Shinoda and Hasashi Ishii, with series composition by Shigeru Murakoshi, character designs by Yuki Nakano, and animation by EMT Squared.

Yuusha, Yamemasu premieres in April 2022.
