Something that helps makes the anime fandom such an engaging one is its community. Being an anime fan means participating in one of the most passionate, creative, and supportive communities, and The Tenafly Anime Club carries that spirit well.
Formed by a group of anime fans who believed in the power of the anime community, the Tenafly Anime Club has regularly been donated a free booth by Anime NYC, with the club paying them back by creating unique thank you gifts and community building moments and experiences.

This year, Anime NYC attendees could contribute notes that will be used to create a large mural of Rocket, 1/2 of the convention’s mascot team.
Those who visited the Tenafly booth were also able to take a picture to contribute to Tenafly’s ambitious convention trading card idea. Driven by the idea that people who regularly attend the same convention tend to recognize each other, some become friends or familiar faces in the crowd, but many don’t know each other. These Convention trading cards will give people the chance to see the faces that call Anime NYC an event that they just can’t miss!
The Tenafly Anime Club is a great group with an amazing goal! Keep an eye out for them at Anime NYC 2022!
