G4TV has announced November 16, 2021, as its launch date! This follows nearly a year of YouTube content from the classic gaming brand that brought back some former hosts and shows and adding new game content creators. This has all been in preparation for its full return as a digital first network!
G4TV originally started as TechTV in 2002 and went off the air in 2014. A television hub for all things gaming and nerdy, the channel is loved by the generation of gamers who grew up with it.
Its launch will be as a digital first network that will have gaming and pop culture programming alongside live specials. G4TV promises to make content “both FOR and WITH gaming’s biggest fans”. They have also promised no reruns of COPS and Cheaters, which we are holding them to.
