Your dreams don’t have to remain dreams, 90s Kids! Not with the classic game show Legends of the Hidden Temple making its return this Sunday, now with adults competing instead of kids!
Legends of the Hidden Temple originally premiered in 1993 on Nickelodeon as an action-adventure game show hosted by Kirk Fogg. Inspired by Indiana Jones, the show would have pairs of kids compete, answering historical trivia, competing in physical games, and finally entering the amazingly designed temple. All of this taking place under the watchful eye of the temple’s guardian Olmec. In 2016 there was a movie based on the series.
The 2021 revival series is hosted by Cristela Alonzo and will see adults compete in similar events. It looks like a more action-packed and dynamic show. The character of Olmec is making a return.
Legends of the Hidden Temple 2021 premieres on Sunday, October 10th on The CW. Stream it the next day for free on The CW app.
The original series is available to stream now on Paramount+.
