Today, Crunchyroll has announced the exciting news that Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba’s Mugen Train Arc and Entertainment District Arc will be heading to the platform later this year!
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Mugen Train Arc is a seven-episode arc that adapts the movie of the same name but also adds an additional episode, 70 new scenes, new music tracks, and new opening and ending animations with music by LiSA (the opening theme “Akeboshi” and ending theme “Shirogane”). Experience the story of Tanjiro and his friends as they embark on a mysterious train that will test their resolve on every level. The additional episode will feature a mission taking place before Mugen Train, while the arc itself will be used to connect the Unwavering Resolve Arc with the Entertainment District Arc.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Entertainment District Arc has our demon slayers face off against the major demon, Daki (voiced by Miyuki Sawashiro). Dangers await around every corner as they attempt to survive a new devastating threat. The arc will open with a one-hour long episode, featuring a special theme song performed by Aimer.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is based on a manga written and illustrated by Koyoharu Gotōge. The series follows Tanjiro Kamado as he tries to cure his sister Nezuko’s demonic curse. Along the way, they meet new allies and dangerous enemies. Demon Slayer quickly became a worldwide favorite franchise, with its sales and releases topping the charts and breaking sales records in Japan.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Mugen Train Arc premieres on Crunchyroll on Sunday, October 10 with the Entertainment District Arc premiering on Sunday December 5. Catch up before the premiere by heading over to Crunchyroll now!
