The ‘MADE IN ABYSS’ Theatrical Collection Is Available For Pre-order Now From Sentai Filmworks!

All three Made In Abyss theatrical movies are being made available in a new Blu-ray set filled with all kinds of features thanks to Sentai Filmworks, and fans won’t want to miss it!

“Anyone can descend into the Abyss, but few who survive the massive, multi-leveled pit’s dangers make it back unravaged by madness and nightmarish physical transformations. Still, when 12-year-old Riko learns that her missing mother may be alive in the Abyss’ inky depths, she and her friend Reg decide to brave the ultimate darkness in the astonishing twin feature films that recap the acclaimed TV series, MADE IN ABYSS. But as harrowing and gut-wrenching as those adventures may be, the tensions will only continue to mount. The Made In Abyss Theatrical Collection includes Journey’s Dawn, Wandering Twilight, and Dawn of the Deep Soul with English, Spanish, and Japanese with subtitle options. Extra features include Japanese promos, Maruik’s Daily Life videos, Making of special, and commentary from the series director, author, and producer. It also has interviews with series voice actors Mariya Ise (Reg), Miyu Tomita (Riko), and Shiori Izawa (Nanachi).

Made in Abyss started as a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Akihito Tsukushi before being adapted into an anime series animated Kinema Citrus. The series takes place in the town of Orth, which surrounds a strange otherworldly abyss that sees travelers descend to get relics of an ancient civilization. The young girl Riko decides to also search the mysterious realm to find her missing mother. Riko eventually comes across a unique life-form named Reg, and the two proceed on the journey of the ages.
