To celebrate the release of The Suicide Squad, Adult Swim’s Toonami will be airing a marathon of the Harley Quinn animated series!
The well-received series follows Harley Quinn after breaking up with the Joker. Moving in with her friend Poison Ivy, Harley forms a super-villain gang of other misfits as she sets out on her own villainous adventures. The show has gained a lot of praise for its humor, action, and amazing cast.
The Suicide Squad is the stand-alone sequel to 2016’s Suicide Squad. Directed by James Gunn, the movie sees a group of supervillains taking on a top-secret and dangerous government mission to reduce their prison sentences. The film stars Margot Robbie, Idris Elba, John Cena, Joel Kinnaman, Viola Davis, Jai Courtney, Peter Capaldi, and Sylvester Stallone.
The Suicide Squad premieres August 5, 2021, and will premiere on HBO Max the next day.
The Adult Swim Harley Quinn marathon starts Saturday @ 10:30 PM on Adult Swims Toonami.
