Higurashi: When They Cry – SOTSU, premieres this July and will be available to stream on Funimation. Excited fans can get an early look thanks to a new trailer!

Higurashi When They Cry is a Japanese murder mystery visual novel series that focuses on a group of young friends living in rural Japan, and how they handle a set of bizarre & bloody events during 1983. The series has gotten a lot of praise and includes several games, mangas, novels, drama CDs, and anime adaptions/spin-offs. There are even Higurashi live-action movies. Higurashi: When They Cry – Gou premiered in 2020 and is a partial retelling of the original story with a new mystery included.
