Hocus Pocus 2 Heads To Disney+ Halloween 2022; Original Cast Reprising Their Roles As The Sanderson Sisters

As reported by Bloody-Disgusting.com, Hocus Pocus 2 has been announced to be heading to Disney+ fall next year with the original cast reprising their roles as the Sanderson Sisters!

Hocus Pocus 2 sees the return of Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy as the Sanderson sisters. Anne Fletcher is set to direct with Jen D’Angelo writing the script.

Hocus Pocus was originally released in 1993 and is about the three Sanderson witch sisters being resurrected by a teenage boy 300 years after they were killed for consuming the souls of children. Seeking to take the souls of more children to stay alive and become even more powerful, they face off against a group of teens. Loved for its comedy and imagination, the film has gone on to become a Halloween cult classic.

The sequel sees three young women who accidentally revive the Sanderson Sisters who head out on another evil adventure to consume the souls of the children of Salem. It is up to those that freed them to stop the ancient witches from reeking havoc on the modern world.
