Netflix’s Live-Action ‘Sweet Tooth’ Adaption Gets First Official Trailer

The DC Comic is getting a live-action adaption via Netflix!

Netflix’s upcoming live-action adaption of Sweet Tooth has gotten an official trailer.

“Based on the beloved DC Comic, and Executive Produced by Susan Downey & Robert Downey Jr., Sweet Tooth is a post-apocalyptic fairytale about a hybrid deer-boy and a wandering loner who embark on an extraordinary adventure. All episodes of Sweet Tooth premiere June 4th, 2021, only on Netflix.”

Sweet Tooth began as comic a written and illustrated by Jeff Lemire and published by DC Comics’ Vertigo Imprint. It tells the story of a post-apocalyptic world, where Gus, a boy with deer-like features, struggles to survive. The series will star Christian Convery, Nonso Anozie, Adeel Akhtar, Will Forte, Dania Ramirez, Neil Sandilands, Stefania LaVie Owen, Aliza Vellani, and Jame Brolin. Robert Downey Jr. and Susan Downey are working as two of the series executive producers.

Sweet Tooth will premiere on Netflix on June 4th.
