The Rugrats, the most iconic gang of friends from the ’90s, are set to make a return later this month as a Paramount+ original series, and excited viewers have gotten their first good look thanks to a newly released trailer!
Rugrats is a CG-animated revival series of the classic Nickelodeon cartoon series of the same name. Bringing back Tommy, Chuckie, Phil, Lil, Susie, and Angelica (and their original voice actors), the series will see the babies head out on might big adventures through the power of their imagination.
The original Rugrats premiered on Nickelodeon in 1991, quickly becoming one of the channel’s most highly beloved shows. It went on to last nine seasons, receiving several spin-offs and theatrical movies.
Some fans have questioned the absence of the characters Dil, Kimi, and Harold, but we will all just have to wait to see if they make an appearance in the full series.
Rugrats premieres on Paramount+ on May 27th.
