Archie was created by John L. Goldwater and Bob Montana in collaboration with writer Vic Bloom and first appeared in Pep Comics in December of 1941. The series follows Archie Andrews and his misadventures in dating and shenanigans as a teenager. Several other classic series also takes place in the realm of Archie and his friends, including Sabrina the Teenage Witch and Josie and the Pussycats, all of them receiving numerous adaptions as animated series, live-action movies & television series, and music.
The Bleepin’ Robot Chicken Archie Comics Special will premiere on Adult Swim on Sunday, May 23 @ midnight ET/PT.
