Netflix’s ‘Pacific Rim’ Anime Series Gets First Trailer And March 4th Release Date

Pacific Rim: The Black, a Netflix original anime series based on the Pacific Rim franchise, has gotten a new trailer alongside its March 4, 2021 release date.

“There was a time when Kaiju rose from the Pacific Rim only to encounter gigantic robots, Jaegers, built to fight them back. That time has passed. Now, Australia has been overrun by Kaiju, forcing the evacuation of an entire continent. Left behind, teenage siblings Taylor and Hayley embark on a desperate search for their missing parents, teaching themselves to pilot a battered, long-abandoned Jaeger to help in their quest and give them even the slightest hope of surviving.”

The Pacific Rim franchise is a science fiction mecha monster series that started in 2013 with the release of the original movie. It was praised for its over the top action, unique designs of their kaiju and mechs. Pacific Rim: The Black will be produced by Legendary Television with animation handled by Polygon Pictures.

Pacific Rim: The Black will premiere on Netflix on March 4th, 2021.
