Dantai will be set in a city where bio-technologic developments have led to an even wider wealth divide. The story will follow two “rising stars,” each living in opposite environments, as the narrative explores equality when the world is corrupt.

Dantai will be a unique and interesting animated series. Inspired by anime, the partnership between these creative forces perfect, as noted by the Elbas.

“We’re really excited to be announcing this deal on our first anime. We’re both fans of the genre and see a huge opportunity to create something unique for a powerhouse like Crunchyroll. The story of ‘Dantai’ is our first collaboration as producers together and is one that is close to our hearts.”
