The anime adaption of Horimiya has gotten its first teaser trailer thanks to Funimation, and it looks to be a fun story about personal identity and expression.
“When Kyoko Hori and Izumi Miyamura run into each other outside of school looking different than they usually do, the two realize that not everything is as it seems. Horimiya premieres on Funimation on January 9!”

Horimiya is based on Hori-san to Miyamura-kun, a web manga written by HERO that later went on to be published in Square Enix’s Gangan Comics Imprint. The series was previously adapted into a four-episode OVA that ran from 2012-2018.
Horimiya will be directed by Masashi Ishihama, with Haruko Iizuka handling character designs. The animation will be by CloverWorks. A live-action film and TV series is also in the works and set to release in February 5, 2021.
Horimiya will premiere on Funimation on January 9th.
