As reported by 4Gamer.Net, gamers can add a bit of Eorzea to their computer with a new Final Fantasy XIV Online SSD coming from Square Enix and I-O Data this December.
An external SSD with a USB 3.2 Gen 1 connection and 500GB of storage, it is emblazoned with the game’s title and logo.
For players that want to quickly transfer their install of Final Fantasy XIV from their HDD to their new SSD, I-O Data has an app called Giga Crystal Phantom that will help them.
The Final Fantasy XIV Online SSD will be available on December 2 in Japan. No word at the time of writing about an official international release.
Final Fantasy XIV is available now for PC, Mac, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation 4.
