Mystery Manga ‘Moriarty the Patriot’ Releases This October!

An exciting re-imaging of the classic literary villain Moriarty is on the way next month, and manga fans should get ready to see the journey of one of the world’s greatest minds in Moriarty the Patriot.

“In the late 19th century, Great Britain rules over a quarter of the world. Nobles sit in their fancy homes in comfort and luxury, while the working class slaves away at their jobs. When young Albert James Moriarty’s upper-class family adopts two lower-class orphans, the cruelty the boys experience at his family’s hands cements Albert’s hatred of the nobility he was born into. He asks the older of the two boys—who has a genius mind and a killer instinct—to help him rid the world of evil, starting with Albert’s own family!”

Moriarty the Patriot is based on the works of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and written by Ryōsuke Takeuchi and illustrated by Hikaru Miyoshi. Filled with plenty of suspense, Moriarty the Patriot is sure to be a thrilling story. The story of a man trying to set the world right in his own way, see the rise of Britain’s greatest criminal mind. Mystery fans won’t want to miss this new series. It is set to be published by VIZ Media. An anime adaption is scheduled to start October 2020.
