The fun of playing The Sims is the chance to create unique characters, wacky situations, and stylish moments, all coming together for a truly rewarding storytelling experience. Well, it seems that experience will be heading to TV screens later this month, with the reveal of The Sims Spark’d, a reality TV competition based around creativity in The Sims.

The Sims™ Spark’d | Official Trailer

“For decades, diverse storytellers have been telling millions of stories in The Sims, inspired by their own lives and limitless creativity. Now, the competition is underway as twelve Simmers take on timed creativity challenges to build characters, worlds, and stories in the hopes of impressing the judges—and winning the $100,000 prize.”

Timed creative challenges with a major cash prize of $100,000 on the line, it will be a unique viewing experience for both fans of The Sims and first-timers.

The Sims community has long loved to share the unique stories and characters with each other using everything from YouTube series to the amazing amount of forums devoted to the long-running franchise.

The first episode of The Sims Spark’d will premiere on July 17 at 11 PM EST/PST on TBS, later heading to Buzzfeed Multiplayer on July 20th at 8 AM.
