COVID-19 has delayed the release of the sixth season of Netflix’s Black Mirror. The series, created by Charlie Booker, focuses on societal changes that spring from technological developments, with a lot of the stories skewing towards dark and bleak outcomes.
One company in Madrid, Brother Madrid, seems to think we don’t have to wait for the series to return, as we are already living it.
A company in Madrid has photoshopped a fake advert, informing the exhausted world that we are already experiencing the show’s latest season. The faux ad is framed to with a mirror, the title & tagline “BLACK MIRROR: 6th Season. Live Now, everywhere.” Netflix has nothing to do with the advertisement – but let’s be real, this would explain why the year has been so exhaustive.
Black Mirror is available exclusively on Netflix.
