The 1980 cult classic horror film ‘Cannibal Holocaust‘ is getting a video game this year! The newly revealed game, Cannibal, will serve as the next chapter in the series.

Cannibal comes from the original Cannibal Holocaust director Ruggero Deodato and game developer Fantastico Studio. An interactive horror graphic adventure, players will take control of the surviving members of an expedition to the jungles of Borneo. Players will learn how the expedition found themselves in their terror-filled situation.

The original Cannibal Holocaust is considered one of the first “found footage” films ever made. With its script and direction coming from Ruggero Deodato, it is likely the game will earn its place in any horror fans collection.

Cannibal is currently slated for a November 2020 release on the Nintendo Switch, Mobile devices, PC, PS4, and Xbox One. You can stay tuned to the official site for more info.
