The anime adaption of Ishuzoku Reviewers has had a hard time reaching western viewers, following its removal from Funimation. Many chalked it up as some form of western censorship, but it seems that a few Japanese TV also dislikes the series, as the official Ishuzoku Reviewers twitter has announced the show’s removal from Japanese network Sun TV.
Ishuzoku Reviewers’ removal from Sun TV’s line-up follows its earlier removal from the Tokyo MX channel. The difficulty that broadcasters and streaming services have had with the series is due to its nature being much more sexually explicit than originally believed.
While the series still airs on several Japanese networks, it is starting to become a curious question as to what its future will be.
