Nintendo’s mobile phone Mario Kart game, Mario Kart Tour, has announced that real-time multiplayer will be introduced to the game, starting with a beta available to its Gold Pass subscribers.
Announced via Twitter, this update is something that fans excitedly wanted with the game’s launch. The fact that the initial beta is tied to the Gold Pass Subscription for the game, which costs $4.99 a month, may upset some given the initial reaction to the subscription model. When the beta’s wild scale availability to non-subscribers is currently unclear, so stay tuned to the game’s official twitter.
Mario Kart Tour is available for iOS and Android mobile devices.
