It seems that the Persona 5 Phantom Thieves will have the chance to prove themselves with the newly revealed bit of news that the previous Persona protagonists, Persona 3’s Makoto Yuki and Persona 4’s Yu Narukami, will both be optional bosses players can face via a planned DLC.
All of this was revealed in the latest and last Morgana Report, a series of videos detailing major changes for Persona 5: The Royale.
Morgana Report:
Showing off DLC that will be available like costumes from the latest side games, as well as a new dungeon that will allow players to interact with dungeons and memories from the game. It is interesting that they are letting previous characters interact with the main cast this way, outside of their Persona 4: Arena fighting game series.
Are we seeing a new trend for the franchise?
Persona 5: The Royale will be available on the PS4 in Japan on October 31. A western release is set for 2020.
