Anime NYC powered by Crunchyroll has announced some exciting news. Anime voice actress Rie Kugimiya will be an official guest this year!
This will be the first appearance for Kugimiya, who has voice acted for over 25 years, playing iconic roles like Alphonse Elric in Fullmetal Alchemist, Kagura in Gintama, Happy in Fairy Tail, and Rise Kujikawa in Persona 4. Kugimiya has voiced over 300 roles since 1992. Her US debut appearance at Anime NYC will include a free panel on the main stage and a paid autograph signing, both on Sunday, November 17th.

Kugimiya has been nicknamed the “Queen of Tsundere” by fans due to the number of roles she played as the character type.
Autograph signing tickets will go on sale October 6th, for $125, limited to one per person, with Kugimiya signing one shikishi (Japanese signing board) which is included with each ticket.
Fans won’t want to miss the chance to experience this not only rare public appearance but her first trip to the US! You can grab a ticket for the signing, here when they are made available.
