Toonami Announces Mini-Series Adaption Of Junji Ito’s “Uzumaki”

One of the greatest horror mangas is getting an anime adaption!

Adult Swim’s Toonami is getting an amazing addition next year as it brings one of horror mangaka, Junji Ito’s most beloved works to their screen with their new Uzumaki mini-series.

Spiral into the dark! Toonami is proud to announce the newest anime series created in partnership with Production IG USA. Uzumaki, a four episode mini-series based on the supernatural horror manga by legendary author Junji Ito, will premiere on Toonami in 2020!

The story of a small town, where a spiral pattern has power, it is considered one of Ito’s best work and the perfect way to introduce others to him. Created in partnership with IG USA, the Toonami adaption will be a four-episode mini-series.

Uzumaki is set to air on Toonami in 2020, and we are very excited!
