As reported by CogConnected, Boss Key Productions gravity-defying shooter LawBreakers just can’t seem to get a break. First announcing that it would be shutting down its servers roughly one year after its launch, it now seems to be the target of an interesting presentation being held by a former Nexon America Vice President, Vlad Coho at the DevGamm Game developer Summit in Seattle later this month. Now labeled TBA, it was previously called “LawBreakers: How I Blew Millions Marketing the Biggest Flop of 2017”.
While Boss Key Productions developed the game, it was published by Nexon. The change was done to be considerate of the effort and time that went into the game’s development and how the closer of Boss Key will effect the lives of its staff. That didn’t stop some gamers from tweeting about the jab at LawBreakers developer Cliff Bleszinski, which earned them this response from the industry veteran.
