After striking a large fan base in such a quick time, Kazuma and the rest of the company are coming back to show us some of the crazy adventures and mishaps they have to deal with on a regular basis. After concluding a two-season run, KONOSUBA: God’s Blessing on this Wonderful World is returning for a special theatrical movie release.
Originally streaming on Crunchyroll the KONOSUBA anime series was produced by Studio Deen. However, the theatrical release will feature animation production by J.C Staff, who has done work in other popular anime such as Akame ga KILL!, Blood+, and Full Metal Alchemist. Even though the production team will be different, key members from the anime will return for the movie, such as Takaomi Kanasaki as the director, Koichi Kikuta on character design, Masato Koda on music, and Makoto Uezo doing series composition.
Although an official release date has not been given yet, the first key visual has been released (below.)

Aside from the theatrical release, there will also be a special orchestral concert held at the Tokyo Metropolitan Theater in Japan on February 3, 2019. There will also be a special appearance from some of the cast and crew from the anime series.
If you haven’t watched KONOSUBA, you have more than enough time to catch up on the series by watching both seasons on Crunchyroll, or reading the English light novel or manga series published by Yen Press.
I’m happy to get something new, but I’d rather have an actual 3rd season.
