As Splatoon celebrates its 3rd birthday this week, Twitter users complain as Splatoon 2 is being slowly taken over by hackers.
Online hackers changing weapon and movement properties for themselves is a slowly growing problem for Nintendo’s fun, kid-friendly shooter. Many blame the GPU exploit recently discovered for the Switch.
While some claim that the problem of hackers is being blown out of proportion, it is still a concern. Nintendo has taken to banning those with with hacked Switch’s.
It will be scary to some, to think if the ability to hack games moves into the newly announced Super Smash Bros., due for release this year.
