New York Comic Con may have just lost one of its biggest annual events, as entertainment giant Marvel has canceled its partnership event with weapon manufacturer Northop Grunman. While the details of what this event and partnership entailed was never given to the public, the deal had many fans and members of the general public upset. Some saying it was in poor taste to hold this event following the Las Vegas Shooting.
This makes for the second canceled NYCC Marvel event of the year. It follows the cancellation of the joint Marvel & Netflix Punisher panel as well as the delay of The Punisher Netflix premiere which is also due to the tragic shootings.
