Along side a new trailer for Mass Effect: Andromeda, Xbox One owners got a special treat as the entirety of the original Mass Effect Trilogy was made backwards compatible for download.
Those who own the games either digitally or still on Xbox 360 disk can access the game immediately and for those yet to get it, they can purchase it now for play. At the time of writing, Bioware has made it clear they currently have no intent of giving PS4 the same treatment.
This is all prepping players for the journey to Andromeda next year.
