Beautifully animated and stellar song, Shelter is a short film by Porter Robinson and Madeon. Produced by A-1 Pictures and currently featured on Crunchyroll, Shelter is the story of 17-year-old Rin who lives inside of a simulation by herself. One day everything changes, and she begins to learn just why she’s been put there.
Shelter is roughly 6 minutes long but the story speaks volumes, breathtaking scenes of the simulated world being changes to Rin’s whim. Her slow realization to her purpose to the world is all the more shocking given the last few minutes are dedicated to her back story.
