Sony today has responded to Microsoft’s cross console system with a very vague set of statements that can give a bit of hope to the most optimistic of gamers.
In a statement to GameSpot, Sony has let loose their stance as far as cross-platform goes:
“PlayStation has been supporting cross-platform play between PC on several software titles starting with Final Fantasy 11 on PS2 and PC back in 2002,” reads the statement from the corporation.
“We would be happy to have the conversation with any publishers or developers who are interested in cross platform play.”

This semi vague answer was to the direct question of Microsoft’s announcement.
If they were to agree, this would make for a historic moment in gaming. As most cross connectivity has been left to console to pc, handheld to console.
