‘The Devil Wears Prada 2’ Premieres In Theaters On May 1st

20 years after its first entry, The Devil Wears Prada 2 will premiere this May, showing the chapter for Andrea “Andy” Sachs, the devilish Miranda Priestly, and their friends and enemies.

The Devil Wears Prada 2 is the sequel to 2006’s Devil Wears Prada, which starred Anne Hathaway as Andrea “Andy” Sachs, the new assistant to the fearsome Miranda Priestly, the editor-in-chief of the fictional fashion magazine Runwa, played by Meryl Streep. The movie series is based on the 2003 novel of the same name by Lauren Weisberger, which tells the story of Andy as she deals with the immense demands of her boss and tries to carve out a place for herself in the fashion industry.

The sequel continues Andy’s story as she returns to Runway magazine to help Miranda navigate a changing media landscape that threatens the magazine’s future. It is directed by David Frankel, written by Aline Brosh McKenna, with music by Theodore Shapiro. It stars Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, Justin Theroux, Kenneth Branagh, and Stanley Tucci.

The Devil Wears Prada 2 will premiere in theaters on May 1, 2026.
