Season 2 of Netflix’s Devil May Cry will premiere this spring. Featuring the series debut of Dante’s brother journey, Adi Shankar, animated series creator and showrunner, is teasing Virgil’s Debut and season 2’s future alongside some new photos of the half-demon brothers.
Series Creator Adi Shankar on Season 2:

“I’m allergic to formula. I dislike when successful shows turn into comfort food. Devil May Cry won’t be TV that loops. My mission for Season 2 was to capture the feeling of a 2000s film franchise entry where the audience can’t predict the next turn.”
Series Creator Adi Shankar on what he is most excited to tackle in bringing the beloved character Vergil to life:

“His restraint. The interesting part is that Vergil’s a guy who can stand completely still and still feel like the most dangerous one in the room. His presence does the talking.”
The Devil May Cry Netflix adaptation was created by Adi Shankar with animation by Studio Mir. The series stars Johnny Yong Bosch, Scout Taylor-Compton, Hoon Lee, Chris Coppola, and Kevin Conroy. Season 1 of Devil May Cry debuted at #4 on the global top 10 list with 5.3 million views in three days. The season two cast includes Johnny Yong Bosch as Dante, Robbie Daymond as Vergil, and Scout Taylor-Compton as Lady.
Devil May Cry is an action hack-and-slash game franchise created by Hideki Kamiya and primarily developed and published by Capcom. The series follows the demon hunter Dante and his allies as they work to stop supernatural forces from attacking Earth. The series is much loved, receiving praise for its over-the-top fast-paced action, combo gameplay, and style and visuals.
