Baki the Grappler is a martial arts manga series written and illustrated by Keisuke Itagaki. It follows a teenager named Baki Hanma as he trains to take on dangerous opponents in deadly tournaments. The series has been adapted into several anime series and an OVA, with the current Netflix adaptation being well-received.
BAKI-DOU is the fourth Baki story and follows the titular character, now bored with fighting, as none of his opponents truly test his abilities following a destructive clash with his father. Baki and the world’s best fighters are put to the test when a challenger from the distant past arrives, using techniques that push them beyond their limits.
BAKI-DOU will premiere in 2026 on Netflix.
