Season 2 of ‘Wizards Beyond Waverly Place’ Gets New Trailer Ahead of its Friday Premiere

More wizards, shenanigans, laughs, and danger are on the way with the second season of Wizards Beyond Waverly Place premiering on the Disney Channel later this week.

Wizards Beyond Waverly Place is the sequel series to the original Wizards of Waverly Place. It has David Henrie reprising his role as Justin Russo, and Selena Gomez as a recurring guest-starring as her character, Alex Russo, as well as serving as the executive producer for the series. The full series cast includes Mimi Gianopulos, Alkaio Thiele, Max Matenko, Janice LeAnn Brown, and Taylor Cora.

The Wizards of Waverly Place was a Disney Channel original comedy that focused on the Russo Family, the three children being wizards who have to one day compete to see who gets to keep their powers since only one wizard is allowed in each family. The series ran for four seasons and is credited with helping to further launch the career of Selena Gomez.

Season 2 will premiere on Disney Channel on September 12 and on Disney+ October 8th.
