New PANTY & STOCKING with Garterbelt’s second ending animation adds everyone’s favorite angelic boys

The exciting return of Panty & Stocking is going well with New Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt. Plenty of over-the-top action, brash humor, and comedic fan service that fans expect from the series, one of its best new additions has been the characters Polyester and Polyurethane, who now make an appearance in the series’ latest ending animation.

New Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt is the long-awaited second season of the 2010 anime series Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt. The first season was produced by Gainax, with the rights acquired by Studio Trigger after Gainax’s closure. The series follows sisters Panty & Stocking (the Anarchy Sisters), two angels exiled from heaven for bad behavior. They set out to get back in by defeating ghosts using their lingerie that they can turn into weaponry. New Panty & Stocking picks up right after the first season, with the Anarchy sisters continuing their mission, now along with reluctant new allies. Season 2 is directed by Hiroyuki Imaishi, Hiromi Wakabayashi (who are also the lead writers), and Akira Furukawa.
