New Digimon anime series, ‘Digimon Beatbreak,’ premieres on October 5th in Japan

Digimon returns this Fall.

Digimon Beatbreak, the latest entry in the Digimon anime franchise, has gotten a new trailer and an October 5th premiere date from Toei Animation.

Digmon Beatbreak is the newest anime series based on the long-running Digimon franchise. The series is directed by Hiroaki Miyamoto, with series composition by Ryota Yamaguchi, character designs by Takahiro Kojima, music composition by Alisa Okehazama, and production by Toei Animation.

The series will star Miyu Irino, Megumi Han, Tomoyo Kurosawa, Mutsumi Tamura, Arisa Sekine, Misaki Kuno, Yohei Azakami, and Daiki Hamano.

Digimon is a media franchise created by Akiyoshi Hongo and WIZ. It focuses on the adventures of people who team up with Digimon, powerful digital monsters from the digital world that can “digivolve” to take on even more powerful forms. With the premiere of Digimon Adventure in 1999, there have been eight Digimon anime series released so far, with Beatbreak being the 9th.

Digimon Beatbreak will premiere on October 5, 2025, in Japan.
