Get ready for your return to Freddy Fazbear’s this winter with a new trailer for Five Nights at Freddy’s 2, the next movie based on the horror franchise.

Blumhouse’s Five Nights at Freddy’s movies are based on the horror game franchise of the same name, which was created by video game developer Scott Cawthon. The first movie followed Mike, a troubled man struggling to care for his little sister, as he accepts a security job at a children’s pizzeria filled with sinister secrets. The second movie will continue the story of Mike, his sister, and their allies as they head to a new Freddy Fazbear location.

The film is directed by Emma Tammi and written by Scott Cawthon, with Josh Hutcherson, Elizabeth Lail, Piper Rubio, and Matthew Lillard reprising their roles from the previous film. New cast members include Skeet Ulrich, Wayne Knight, McKenna Grace, and Teo Briones.

Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 will be released in the United States on December 5, 2025.
