Star Trek: Strange New Worlds’ new trailer offers a peek at major adventures for the Enterprise crew

Captain Pike and his crew are sure to continue to boldly go in Star Trek: Strange New Worlds season 3 this summer, and its latest official trailer is giving a better look at what is ahead.

“In Season 3, when we reconnect with the crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise, still under the command of Captain Pike, they face the conclusion of Season 2’s harrowing encounter with the Gorn. But new life and civilizations await, including a villain that will test our characters’ grit and resolve. An exciting twist on classic Star Trek, Season 3 takes characters both new and beloved to new heights, and dives into thrilling adventures of faith, duty, romance, comedy, and mystery, with varying genres never before seen on any other Star Trek.”

Star Trek: Strange New Worlds is the latest entry in the long-running Star Trek franchise and a spin-off of the series Star Trek: Discovery. The series follows Captain Christopher Pike and his crew aboard the starship Enterprise before the ship comes under the command of its most famous captain, James T. Kirk. Strange New Worlds was created by Akiva Goldsman, Alex Kurtzman, and Jenny Lumet and stars Anson Mount, Ethan Peck, Rebecca Romijn, Jess Bush, Christina Chong, Celia Rose Gooding, Melissa Navia, Babs Olusanmokun, Bruce Horak, and Martin Quinn.

Season 4 of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds has already been greenlit.

Star Trek: Strange New Worlds season 3 will premiere on July 17th on Paramount+.
