Blue Box is a romantic comedy sports manga series written and illustrated by Kouji Miura. It is about athletic student Taiki, who plays for his school’s boys’ badminton team, and his crush Chinatsu, who plays for the girls’ basketball team. Both strive to reach the national championships in their respective sports, but they are forced to live together when Chinatsu’s parents travel for work. The series follows the pair as they strive to be the best and come to terms with how they feel about each other.

The series has been adapted into an anime series premiered in October 2024. It is directed by Yūichirō Yano, written by Yūko Kakihara, with music by Takashi Ohmama, animation by Telecom Animation Film, and production and planning by TMS Entertainment.

Blue Box Volume 16 will be released on July 1, 2025. See where you can pre-order your copy at Viz.com or pick it up at your local comic or book shop when it’s released.
