Season 2 of DAN DA DAN will premiere this summer. Ahead of its return, the series has released a second trailer that gives a peek at its fast-paced action, character drama, and the new opening theme, “On The Way,” by AiNA THE END.

“DAN DA DAN follows Momo, a high school girl from a family of spirit mediums, and her classmate Okarun, an occult geek. In this new arc, Momo and Okarun set out on their latest adventure, traveling to a hot springs town home rented by Jiji, Momo’s childhood friend and former crush, with the goal to solve the mystery surrounding his family. When they arrive, strange locals derail their investigation before it can properly begin, and the group soon learns there’s more lurking under the surface of the town than they could possibly have imagined.”

DAN DA DAN is a manga series written and illustrated by Yukinobu Tatsu. The series is about two classmates who believe in separate portions of the supernatural/paranormal world, both finding out things are a lot more complicated than they originally thought, unlocking hidden powers and new abilities while pursuing the truth.

The anime adaptation has been immensely well-received and has become extremely popular thanks to its tone, frantic mad-cap style, amazing music, and intense action. The first season was directed by Fuga Yamashiro, written by Hiroshi Seko, with music by Kensuke Ushio and animation production by Science Saru. The Japanese cast includes Shion Wakayama, Natsuki Hanae, Nana Mizuki, Mayumi Tanaka, Ayane Sakura, and Kaito Ishikawa. The English voice cast stars Abby Trott, A.J. Beckles, Kari Wahlgreen, Lisa Reimold, Aleks Le, Barbara Goodson, and Ben Diskin.

DAN DA DAN season 2 will premiere on July 3. You can see the series early, alongside bonus content, by watching DAN DA DAN: EVIL EYE, a theatrical presentation of the first three episodes of season 2, debuting in North American theaters on June 6. You can learn more and get your ticket here.
