Bandai Namco and Activision Blizzard are teaming up for a colossal collaboration, bringing the iconic look and gear of Mobile Suit Gundam Wing to Overwatch 2 in the not-too-distant future.
The collab event brings iconic Gundam units to Overwatch 2:

👾 Ramattra as Epyon
🫡 Soldier: 76 as Tallgeese
💀 Reaper as Deathscythe
Overwatch 2 is a free-to-play hero shooter developed and published by Blizzard Entertainment. Players take control of characters that fill a tank, DPS, or healing role to face off in combat.
Mobile Suit Gundam Wing is a 1995 mecha anime series that was directed by Masashi Ikeda & Shinji Takamatsu (who was uncredited), with writing by Katsuyuki Sumizawa, music by Kow Otani, and animation by Sunrise. The sixth Gundam installment, the series is set in the “After Colony” timeline as humanity expands further into space and follows five young Gundam pilots who seek to free the space colonies from the oppressive rule of the United Earth Sphere Alliance. Gundam Wing is a fan favorite, and its airing on Cartoon Network’s Toonami in the 90s is often credited as helping further promote the franchise’s popularity in the West. It would be adapted into several manga series, video games, and OVAs. Its story would get direct sequels in Endless Waltz and Frozen Teardrop. Gundam Wing celebrated its 30th anniversary this year.
The Overwatch 2 x Gundam Wing collab is live now and is a limited-run event. Overwatch 2 is available on the Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
