Upcoming sci-fi horror series ‘Alien: Earth’ has a gotten teaser trailer and summer release window

The xenomorphs are heading to the small screen with some big scares, as Alien: Earth, a TV series based on the popular Alien franchise, is set to debut this Summer on FX and Hulu.

“When a mysterious space vessel crash-lands on Earth, a young woman (Sydney Chandler) and a ragtag group of tactical soldiers make a fateful discovery that puts them face-to-face with the planet’s greatest threat in FX’s highly anticipated TV series Alien: Earth from creator Noah Hawley.”

Alien: Earth is a science fiction horror TV series written and directed by Noah Hawley. Set in the Alien universe, it is a prequel taking place two years before the events of the original Alien film; the series will follow a group of soldiers and a young woman who must deal with an extraterrestrial danger on humanity’s homeworld. The series stars Sydney Chandler, Timothy Olyphant, Alex Lawther, Samuel Blenkin, Lily Newmark, Moe Bar-El, Essie Davis, Diem Camille, Erana James, Babou Ceesay, and Adarsh Gourav. Noah Hawley and Ridley Scott (Scott being the director of several of the films including the first one) will serve as the executive producers.

Alien is a sci-fi horror franchise created by Dan O’Bannon and Ronald Shusett. Tells the story of humanity’s interaction with a deadly alien species, the Xenomorph, and mysterious beings nicknamed the Engineers. The original movie was released in 1979 and was followed by several sequels, prequels, spin-off movies, short films, comics, video games, novels, and more.
